You don’t need to be an expert, but you should understand the basic operation of your camera before the trip. This is a photography adventure rather than a classroom-style workshop.

Your trip includes 7 nights in high-end 4-star accommodations, private transportation, a dedicated tour leader, private local guides, scheduled admission fees, meals as specified in the itinerary, two private boat experiences, the Konavle cultural portrait session with three models in traditional attire, and the scheduled activities described in the itinerary.

No. International airfare to and from Croatia is not included. You will be responsible for arranging your international flights. We will provide arrival and departure details so you know exactly when and where to meet the group.

Yes, subject to availability. The base trip price is based on double occupancy, and a limited number of single accommodations will be available for an additional single-room supplement. Final single-room pricing will be provided before booking.

We’ve arranged a special photography experience in the Konavle countryside featuring three local models in traditional attire. This gives our small group an opportunity to create environmental portraits and photograph an aspect of Croatian culture that most visitors don’t have the opportunity to experience.

A DSLR or mirrorless camera and a versatile selection of lenses will work well for this adventure. A wide-angle lens will be especially useful for landscapes, waterfalls and architecture, while a medium telephoto can be valuable for portraits and details. Bring extra batteries, memory cards, a comfortable camera bag and a tripod appropriate for travel. We'll provide a detailed recommended equipment and packing list before departure.

Expect an unusually diverse range: waterfalls and landscapes, historic architecture, street and travel photography, markets and everyday life, environmental portraits, traditional Croatian culture, Adriatic coastlines, sunrise and sunset photography.

This is a moderately active adventure. Expect walking through historic cities and Plitvice Lakes, uneven surfaces, steps and getting on and off boats. You should be comfortable carrying your camera equipment while walking and exploring.

Yes. Standard gratuities for our local guides, drivers and support staff are included in your trip price. Additional tipping is always optional and never expected.
